Egypt Book of Mystery at cv999 — Uncover the Secrets of Ancient Egypt
Search for hidden treasure in the pharaoh's tomb. This PG Soft video slot features a bonus round, special symbols, and the chance for big prizes — all on the cv999 platform.
What kind of game is this slot
Egypt Book of Mystery is a full video slot made by PG Soft, built around the temples, hieroglyphic writing, and mysterious world of ancient Egypt. The graphics are detailed and the animations are smooth — each spin feels like stepping into a real tomb.
The reel layout is 5×4 — five vertical reels each with four rows. This configuration has 20 fixed paylines, with wins counted left to right when matching symbols line up in a row. The interface works fully on any mobile device popular in Bangladesh, with no extra software needed.
Visually, the game features Egyptian gods, sacred cats, Nile papyrus, and ancient coin icons. A sandy pyramid backdrop with a sunset glow gives the game a distinct atmosphere.
How a spin works
To start a spin, first set your bet amount. Use the "Bet" or "Coin Size" control at the bottom of the screen to set the stake per payline. The total bet is the number of paylines multiplied by the stake per line — so all 20 lines are active even on a small bet.
Pressing the spin button sets all five reels spinning at once, and winning combinations are highlighted automatically when they stop. A payline pays out when three or more of the same symbol land consecutively from the leftmost reel. Each symbol has its own value — Egyptian goddess or pharaoh head symbols pay more, while lower-value symbols are card-style icons.
Wild symbol: The mysterious "Book" symbol acts as both a Wild and a Scatter. As a Wild, it substitutes for any other symbol to help form a win. As a Scatter, landing three or more Books anywhere on the reels triggers the free spins round.
Free Spins Bonus: Three or more Scatters award 10 free spins. Before they begin, one special "Expanding Symbol" is selected. During the free spins, whenever that symbol lands on any reel, it expands to cover the full height of that reel, greatly increasing the chance of wins across multiple paylines at once. Landing three more Scatters during the free spins retriggers the bonus and adds another 10 spins.
Maximum prize: The game has the potential to pay up to 5,000 times your bet on a single spin, achievable through the full use of the expanding symbol during the free spins bonus.

Which type of player is this game suited for
Egypt Book of Mystery is a medium-to-high volatility game. Volatility refers to how often wins land and how large they tend to be — low volatility games pay small wins frequently, while high volatility games pay wins less often but those wins tend to be larger.
This game suits players who can stay patient through long quiet stretches and are willing to wait for the bonus round. Playing with small bets makes for longer sessions — a lower stake per spin drains your balance more slowly and gives you more chances to hit the free spins round.
If you are new to slots, it is worth using the demo mode first if it is available. cv999's slots section offers a demo option where you can get familiar with the game's mechanics without spending real money. Players who prefer short sessions of 15–30 minutes can also enjoy this game — even without a bonus, the visuals alone are engaging.
The game's key features
Dual-role Book symbol
A single symbol acts as both Wild and Scatter — filling gaps in winning lines and triggering free spins when three land.
Free Spins with Expanding Symbol
During 10 free spins, one selected symbol expands to fill the full reel height wherever it lands, making multiple paylines winnable at once.
Bonus Round Retrigger
Landing three more Books during the free spins adds another 10 free spins — this can happen multiple times.
Up to 5,000x your bet
The maximum prize is up to 5,000 times your bet, reached primarily through the expanding symbol at full stretch during free spins.
5×4 reels, 20 paylines
A larger grid than the standard 3×5 shows more symbols at once and increases the chance of forming winning combinations.
Fully optimised for mobile
PG Soft games are built with a mobile-first design — they run smoothly on both Android and iOS, via app or browser.
Before you play — practical tips
Start in demo mode
If demo mode is available on the cv999 platform, use it to get a feel for the game before spending real money. You can see how often the Book symbol appears and how the expanding symbol works — all without any financial risk.
Set a session budget
Decide on a limit before you start — for example ৳500 or ৳1,000. Stop the session when that amount is gone. Keeping bets small (such as ৳10–৳20 per spin) gets you more spins from the same budget and gives you more chances at the free spins.
Stick to a stop limit
Set a target after a win — for example, end the session if you double your budget. This way you can walk away with a profit on a good day, and keep losses contained on a bad one.
Common misconceptions — myths to ignore
There are many misconceptions about slot games. Not knowing them can lead to poor decisions without realising it.
Myth: "A slot is due to pay out after a long dry run"
Every spin is a completely independent event — previous results have no effect on the next spin. The random number generator (RNG) determines the outcome fresh on every spin. The idea that "a win must be coming now" has no basis at all.
Myth: "Betting more makes the bonus come sooner"
Your bet size only determines the value of a win — it has no effect on the chance of triggering a bonus round. The rate at which the Book symbol appears is the same regardless of whether your bet is small or large.
Mistake: Increasing your bet to chase losses
Applying a "martingale" strategy by doubling your bet after a loss is risky in slots. Several consecutive empty spins in a row are normal in a high volatility game. Raising your bet risks draining your balance quickly and losing more than your original budget.
Myth: "Playing at a certain time gives better results"
The time of day, day of the week, or date of the month — none of these affect slot outcomes. The RNG works the same way around the clock. Such "strategies" have no effect whatsoever.
How this game compares to other slots
cv999's slots section has many types of games — Megaways slots, classic 3-reel games, cascade mechanics, and fishing games. Among these, Egypt Book of Mystery is a well-rounded example of the traditional payline model.
Megaways games (such as Bonanza Megaways or Gates of Olympus) change the number of ways to win on every spin, sometimes offering thousands of ways at once. By contrast, Egypt Book of Mystery's 20 fixed paylines are straightforward and easier for newcomers to follow.
Cascade mechanic games (such as Sweet Bonanza) remove winning symbols after each win and drop in new ones, allowing multiple wins from a single spin. Egypt Book of Mystery does not use this mechanic — here the main draw is the free spins and the expanding symbol.
In short: this game suits players who prefer a clear reel-and-payline structure and want the potential for bigger wins in the bonus round. Players who want frequent small wins every moment can choose a lower volatility slot from cv999's other options.
